In the Day of the Dead, people decorate in their houses, graves and everything in whole town. People usually decorate many skeletons. What do you think when you hear the skeleton? Is it scary? I think people image terrible thing such as the horror movie. But the skeletons of Day of the Dead are not the real. Of course, any skeletons are very real and scary. But there are a lot of pretty skeletons, too. For example, there is a skeleton wearing the wedding dress. And there is a skeleton of various sizes. Some skeletons are about as big as human. Others can put on our hands. They are very pretty. So if you buy such skeleton dolls, you can buy it for about 100yen. And big and colorful candies of skull are famous. It looks like just Halloween.And most of the houses make the stand of offering. It is decorated many flowers, picture of the dead man, many dishes and so on. Especially, people must offer water, bread and purification salt.

MOVIE
I saw a movie called ‘Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea’ during this summer with my friends. Usually I rarely see movies. But this movie was very interesting and I was impressed. I want to introduce this movie now.
This movie was made by Miyazaki Hayao. He is very famous all over the world for supervisor of Japanese animation movie. The story of this movie is known as ‘Boy meets Girl’ . The girl who name is Ponyo wants to be a human. She meets a boy named Sousuke. This movie is based on The Little Mermaid. It is the story Miyazaki read the first time. So this story is special for him.
This movis is famous for theme song. It is very cute and funny. And it is a song not forgotten when hearing it once. It is sung by eight years old girl and two older men.
